🌱 About the Calculator
Grow A Garden Calculator Tool is a free, web-based plant value calculator built specifically for players of the Roblox game Grow a Garden. It helps you calculate the exact coin value of any plant by factoring in its base value, mutations, weight, quantity, and pet or friend boost percentages — all instantly, right in your browser. No account, no download, no cost.
Yes — 100% free, always. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no paywalls. Every feature of this tool, including the mutation stacker, Value → Weight mode, and trade value list, is available to every player at no cost. We believe that fair access to trading knowledge should not depend on your wallet.
No. Grow A Garden Calculator Tool is an independent, fan-made project. We are not affiliated with Roblox Corporation, the official Grow a Garden game developers, or any partner companies. We simply love the game and built this tool for the community. All values are gathered through community in-game testing only.
No account is needed at all. Simply visit growagardencalculatortool.site, select your plant, apply your mutations, enter your weight, and get an instant value. Everything works without registration or login of any kind.
We update our database as quickly as possible whenever the game receives a significant update, new event, or balance change. Our community actively tests new values in-game and submits findings so we can stay current. We recommend bookmarking the site and checking back after major Grow a Garden updates to get the latest values.
Absolutely. Grow A Garden Calculator Tool is fully responsive and works smoothly on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. You can open it in any modern mobile browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox — and use every feature just as comfortably as on a PC. Many players keep it open on a second screen while playing Grow a Garden on Roblox.
⚙️ How to Use the Calculator
It takes less than 30 seconds. First, select your plant from the grid on the home page — you can filter by category or use the search bar. Next, select any mutations your plant has. Then enter the plant’s weight in kilograms and quantity. Optionally, apply a Friend or Pet Boost percentage using the slider. The estimated value appears instantly without any page reload.
Value → Weight mode is a reverse calculation feature. Instead of entering a weight to find a value, you enter your target coin value and the tool works backwards to tell you exactly how many kilograms your plant needs to weigh to reach that price. This is incredibly useful when someone offers you a specific amount and you want to verify whether your plant legitimately hits that threshold. Toggle it using the mode switch in the calculator.
The Trade Value List lets you add multiple plants and see their combined total value. To use it, calculate a plant’s value as normal, then click “Add to Value List.” Repeat for each plant in a trade. You can build both sides of a deal separately and compare the totals to see whether a proposed trade is fair. This turns our calculator into a complete trade evaluation tool.
Yes. At the top of the plant grid there is a search bar where you can type any plant name and instantly filter the grid to matching results. You can also sort plants alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A) or by value, or browse by category tabs like Seed Shop, Easter Event, Night Event, Bee Event, Halloween, Christmas, and many more.
In Grow a Garden, certain pets and friend bonuses grant a percentage increase to your plant’s sell value. The Friend Boost slider in our calculator lets you factor in this bonus before seeing your final estimated value. Drag the slider from 0% (no boost) up to reflect whatever boost percentage your setup provides. This gives you a more accurate real-world value for your specific account situation.
⚡ Mutations & Multipliers
In 2026, Shocked (⚡) is the highest-value single mutation, applying a 100x multiplier. It is followed by Rainbow (🌈) and Diamond (💎), both at 50x. Blood Moon (🩸) sits at 35x, Holographic (🔮) at 40x, and Celestial (🌟) at 30x. The rarest and most valuable plants combine multiple high-tier mutations — a Shocked + Rainbow + Diamond plant on a high-base plant with heavy weight is among the most prized in the game.
Yes! Plants in Grow a Garden can carry multiple mutations simultaneously, and this is one of the most exciting aspects of the game. A single plant might have Shocked + Rainbow, or Rainbow + Holographic + Blood Moon. Our calculator fully supports multi-mutation plants — simply select all the mutations that apply and the formula stacks them all together correctly to give you an accurate combined value.
The formula used by our calculator is: Final Value = Base Value × (1 + Sum of All Mutation Multipliers − Number of Mutations) × Weight × Quantity × (1 + Friend Boost %). The key insight is that multipliers are added together first, then compounded — they do not simply multiply one after another. This means stacking two 50x mutations does not give you 2,500x; instead it gives you (1 + 50 + 50 – 2) = 99x. The formula is based on community testing and reflects observed in-game behavior.
Rotten (🤢) is one of the few negative mutations in the game. It applies a 0.5x multiplier, which actually reduces your plant’s value by half compared to what it would be without the mutation. If a plant has a Rotten mutation alongside other positive mutations, the Rotten multiplier is included in the formula, bringing the total effective multiplier down. Our calculator accounts for this correctly when Rotten is selected.
Wet (💧) has a 1x multiplier, which means it technically adds no bonus to the plant’s value on its own. However, it still counts as a mutation, and in the formula it participates in the stacking calculation. In practice, Wet is considered a cosmetic or neutral mutation and does not significantly impact trade value. Most traders do not consider Wet when negotiating prices.
Event-exclusive mutations like Blood Moon (Night Event) and Pollinated (Bee Event) are not necessarily worth more in terms of raw multiplier, but they can be significantly rarer and therefore more desirable to traders and collectors. Rarity is a major driver of perceived value in the Grow a Garden economy beyond just the mathematical multiplier. Our calculator reflects the mathematical value — market demand is a separate factor you should consider during trades.
We support all known in-game mutations including Rainbow (50x), Gold (20x), Diamond (50x), Shocked (100x), Frozen (10x), Verdant (5x), Moonlit (8x), Plasma (15x), Celestial (30x), Twisted (2x), Burning (3x), Chocolate (2x), Disco (12x), Midas Bloom (25x), Pollinated (4x), Blood Moon (35x), Ancient (20x), Holographic (40x), Wet (1x), and Rotten (0.5x). We update this list whenever the game adds new mutations.
⚖️ Plant Weight & Value
Weight is directly proportional to a plant’s value in Grow a Garden. A 10kg plant is worth exactly 10 times more than a 1kg plant with identical mutations and base value. This is why serious traders almost always ask about weight first when evaluating a plant. Even a common plant at extremely high weight can be worth more than a rare plant at low weight. Our calculator lets you enter weight to two decimal places for precise valuation.
Every plant in Grow a Garden has a fixed base value set by the game. This is the starting number before mutations and weight are applied. Common plants like Carrot have very low base values, while rare event plants like Beast Buttercup, Moonblossom, or Soulfruit have much higher bases. All base values in our calculator are sourced from real in-game testing and are updated whenever game changes affect them.
In Grow a Garden, you can check your plant’s weight by hovering over or clicking on it in your garden or inventory. The weight is displayed in kilograms (kg). Once you have that number, simply enter it into the Weight field in our calculator. For maximum accuracy, enter the weight to at least one decimal place. The calculator supports weights to two decimal places.
Yes. The Quantity field lets you calculate the combined value of multiple identical plants at once. For example, if you have 5 Tomatoes all with the same mutations and weight, set the quantity to 5 and the calculator will display the total value of all five. This is useful when selling in bulk or negotiating bundle trades.
🤝 Trading in Grow a Garden
Use the Value List feature. Calculate the value of each plant in your offer, clicking “Add to Value List” for each one to get your side’s total. Then do the same for the plants you are being offered. Compare both totals. If the values are roughly equal or you are receiving more value than you are giving, the trade is likely fair. If you are giving significantly more than you are receiving, you may want to renegotiate.
Not always. Our calculator provides a mathematical estimate based on the game’s value formula. However, actual player-to-player trading prices are also influenced by supply and demand, current event availability, hype around certain plants, and individual negotiation. A plant might be mathematically worth 500 million but only trade for 300 million if there is high supply, or sell for more if it is currently trending. Use our values as a strong starting reference, not an absolute price tag.
A fair trade is one where both sides give and receive roughly equal total value. Use our Trade Value List to calculate both sides and compare. Keep in mind that rarity, demand, and aesthetic desirability also factor into perceived fairness beyond raw numbers. As a general rule: if one side’s total is more than 20–30% lower than the other, the lower-value side is getting a bad deal. Always calculate before accepting.
The best defense is knowledge. Always calculate the value of every plant involved in a trade using our GAG calculator before accepting. Be especially careful with: multi-mutation plants (always verify each mutation adds up correctly), weight claims (always check the actual in-game weight), pressure tactics (anyone rushing you to decide quickly is a red flag), and bundled offers (break them down plant by plant and calculate each one separately). Never accept a trade you have not run through a calculator.
In general, the most valuable tradeable plants combine high base value with premium mutations like Shocked, Rainbow, Diamond, or Blood Moon. Plants from limited seasonal events (Easter 2026, Christmas, Halloween) with rare mutations tend to command the highest prices due to scarcity. Heavy plants with multiple stacked high-tier mutations are especially sought after. Use our calculator’s “Value” sort on the plant grid to see which plants have the highest base values in the current game version.
🌿 Plants & Categories
Our calculator supports hundreds of plants across all categories in Grow a Garden — including Seed Shop basics, Exotic Seed Pack plants, Daily and Ascension Reward plants, and plants from every seasonal event. This includes Easter Event, Night Event, Bee Event, Summer Event, Prehistoric Event, Zen Update, Cooking Event, Beanstalk Event, Fairy Event, Fall Event, Halloween Event, Safari, Smithing, Trading Update, Christmas, New Years, Buttercup Update, and Easter 2026. We continuously add new plants as the game updates.
Exotic Seed Pack plants are obtained from a special rare seed pack in Grow a Garden and tend to have higher base values than standard Seed Shop plants. Because they are less commonly available, they often hold stronger trade value even without mutations. With premium mutations added on top, Exotic Seed Pack plants can be some of the most valuable in the game. You can filter for these specifically using the “Exotic Seed Pack” category tab in our calculator.
After a seasonal event ends, those plants can no longer be obtained through normal gameplay. This scarcity typically increases their trade value over time, as existing copies become rarer in the player economy. If you hold event-exclusive plants, their value often rises after the event window closes. Our calculator retains values for all past event plants so you can still calculate their worth even when the event is not currently active.
If you cannot find a plant in our database, it may have been added in a recent game update that we have not yet incorporated. Please contact us and let us know the plant’s name, category, and any value information you have found through in-game testing. We review all such submissions and prioritize updating the database quickly after new releases.
Yes. The calculator includes tabs for Pet XP, Egg Hatch Speed, Pet Weight by Age, and Pet Ability — all selectable from the category grid. Additionally, the Friend Boost slider in the main calculator simulates the percentage bonus that certain pets and friend bonuses apply to your plant’s sell value. This makes our tool useful not just for plant traders but for serious pet collectors and breeders as well.
🛠️ Technical & Other Questions
There are several possible reasons. First, other players may be quoting market prices (what players are willing to pay) rather than formula values (mathematical output). Second, they may be using different or outdated data sources. Third, some players include factors like current event hype or scarcity that our formula does not account for. Our calculator gives you the most accurate mathematical baseline — use it as your starting point for negotiations.
All calculations happen entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The calculator does not have an account system, so there is no persistent history saved between sessions. If you want to record your calculations, we recommend noting them down manually or using the Value List feature to accumulate multiple plants within a single session before closing the tab.
